InstructionThe Billiards Café is the home of the New England Billiard Academy. The academy is one of only six master academies in the United States sanctioned by the Billiard Congress of America (BCA). All instructors at the Billiards Café have successfully completed a BCA training program and are accredited by the BCA. Whether you have never played billiards, or have been playing for years and would like to take your game to a new level, the Billiards Café has a program for you. Upcoming Class SchedulePool Players Weekend Level Two: December 6th and 7th, 2008. BCA instructors will conduct this popular weekend Pool School. This course builds on the techniques and concepts presented in the Level 1 class. Students will be introduced to advanced techniques including alternate aiming systems, multi rail bank and kick systems, and the psychology of winning. A comprehensive workbook, professional drills and an in-depth video analysis of your stroke make this a must for experienced players. The cost of this course is $499. Classes start promptly at 9:00am. BCA instructors' course: December 5th, 6th and 7th, 2008. Billiard Congress of America Advanced Instructor Walter Zincavage and Roy Pastor will prepare you to become a BCA Recognized Instructor. This course includes information about publicizing your services, how to work with room and league operators, how to develop lesson plans, how to conduct private lessons and classes. Completion of a two day Players Class is a prerequisite for the Recognized instructor class. The cost of this course is $350 plus the BCA accreditation fee of $250.
